We also work with the students on gathering pledges from sponsors for a Fun Run that occurs at the end of the two week period. The race includes students, parents, teachers, administrators and PTO/A members and earns the school money on a per lap basis. The teachers become motivated coaches because they have skin in the game--because they get a portion of what their class raises. The students are motivated, because they receive prizes daily in class, in front of their friends, for the pledges they obtained the previous evening. Our program has served thousands of students in multiple states and raised over a million dollars for schools to meet their fundraising budgets. You must have a passion for working with kids, high energy, strong public speaking skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with students as well as parents, teachers, administrators and PTO/A members, all of whom are your clients. You must also have a clean background check and be willing to be drug tested in order to work in schools with students.
