Bernard is Broker/Owner of Denver Business Brokers. He brings with him more than twenty years of diversified business experience of which fifteen years in transactions, due diligence, business appraisal and litigation support.

After attending Northern Illinois University, Bernard began his career in the Transportation Industry. He then successfully owned, managed and sold companies in a variety of industries. He has a broad base of business experience and for the past twenty years has honed and fine tuned his business and intermediary skills.

Prior to forming Denver Business Brokers in 2003, Mr. Cicirello spent eight years as a principal in a Denver based firm focused on main street and small middle-market business brokerage. He assisted business owners with start-up ventures, acquisitions and divestitures, debt restructuring, and corporate finance. Bernard’s transaction experience has focused on privately held businesses in market sectors of general retail, wholesale/distribution with local and interstate commerce, transportation industry, and the meat processing industry. He has personally assisted over 200 business owners in the sale of their business.

The firm’s geographical areas of focus have been Denver and surrounding Metropolitan Areas, Wyoming, and Nebraska.

Mr. Cicirello has been called upon on several occasions to provide expert witness testimony in retail, wholesale and service sectors. He has an extensive educational background in business valuation through the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) and was awarded the designation of AIBA in 2003.
