Gary Richards has coordinated the planning, capitalization, development, and operation of more than 100 businesses since 1984. He has raised over $120 million in equity and debt financing for them.
An experienced business owner and manager himself, Gary has launched, built, and sold businesses large and small for his own account over the past 20 years. Gary's background includes service as Chairman and CEO of a national business unit of a Fortune 500 company. It was here that he gained much of his experience in business analysis and capital formation.
Gary holds a BA degree in Management and Technology from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the adjunct faculty at Chemeketa Community College, serving as a business advisor to the Small Business Development Center. In addition, he has served on the SBA National Advisory Council, which is a key private sector advisory group to the SBA, Congress, and the President on small business issues.
