Between 1983 and 1994, he was employed by three firms to perform merger and acquisition analysis. They included a multi-billion privately-held forest products company, a $125 million publicly-traded telecommunications company (which was later bought out), and a publicly-traded high-technology company. In 1994, he assisted in spinning-off a division of a publicly-traded high tech company, completing a $70 million initial public offering (IPO).

Mr. Crawford has been a guest speaker at Marylhurst University, Portland State University, for continuing education accreditation seminars for CPA’s as well as for other professional organizations. He has received national recognition in finance, marketing and sales.

Mr. Crawford received a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Portland State University (1981), prior to that he received degrees in Accounting and Marketing. His professional credentials include successfully completing Charter Financial Analyst I and II exams. He served on the board for a number of years and is currently a member of the Portland Society of Financial Analysts. Mr. Crawford is also a member of the CFA Institute and a founding board member of the Oregon Business Brokers Association.
