Gary Gunderson brings a wealth of business experience to the service of his clients; he has an undergraduate Business Degree from the University Of Maryland and an MS Degree from Stanford; he has been a big company executive; a CEO of a mid-market company; a founder of a technology startup; and a small business owner. Mr. Gunderson is the owner and principal consultant of Empire Business Brokers-Southeast.

The Company focuses on divisions of larger companies or owner operated small business with revenues typically ranging from $2,000,000 to $30,000,000. Each client is an individual case basis.

Key market areas for the smaller general business clients are the midlands and upstate of South Carolina including Columbia, Rock Hill, Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson and Greenwood. Larger middle market clients are typically located in the eastern US.

All of our brokers are graduates of the Empire Business Brokers training program and are Certified Business Brokers; they have also fullfilled the rigorous examination and standards of the International Business Brokers Association to earn the Certified Business Intermediary designation.

Mr. Gunderson is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and has earned the Certified Business Intermediary designation by that organization. Mr. Gunderson is a member of the M & A Source, the Carolinas Virginia Business Brokers Association and is also the South Carolina State Director of Business Brokers of America…an international business brokerage network of offices across the USA, Mexico and selected additional countries.
