Bill McDermott received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, his M.S.E.E. from New York University and his J.D. from Georgetown University.
After having professional positions at companies such as Bell Telephone Laboratories, Booze Allen Applied Research, IBM, DPF, Inc. and Ferris & Co. (Member, NYSE), he founded Pacific Computer Corporation (PCC).
When he sold PCC to Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), he became involved with several entrepreneurial activities in the areas of Technology, Travel, and Real Estate. After a short stint with Morgan Stanley, his background in large and small businesses led him to become a part of the BTI Group, the largest business intermediary for privately held companies in California.
Bill has represented clients from several industries, including Technology, Internet, Commercial Printing, Construction and Manufacturing . He is currently a licensed California R.E. Broker, a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and a member and past director of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB).
