Mark Gavrilov was born in the former Soviet Union. In mid 1970th, he received his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering and, shortly thereafter, became the Executive Director of a large, renowned public transportation company. In 1979, Mr. Gavrilov emigrated to the United States, and for the next seven years, was actively involved in a series of successful real estate transactions. In 1987, Mr. Gavrilov ventured into the securities arena, becoming a successful securities broker with NASD, and licensed in both the Series 7 and Series 63. Mr. Gavrilov remained active in brokering securities transactions until 1991, when he successfully launched a credit card processing company as an independent sales organization, which he ran for the next four years until 1995. Since that time, Mr. Gavrilov has been, and continues to be, actively involved in what has become his main passion, most notably the successful sourcing and marketing of industrial plants worldwide, as well as the mergers & acquisitions of small and medium-sized firms.
