I was born in St. Joseph, MI and came out for college at the University of Colorado. At CU, a few friends and I took over the Ski Club and built it into the largest college ski club in the country (from 500 to over 3,500 members). We raised over $35K my last year in major corporate sponsorships outside of the ski industry and used them to put on a series of ski events around the state. I was fortunate to ski countless days all over Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and Montana but Steamboat always felt like home.
