Peter grew up knowing the life of the small business owner. His family owned a large commercial bakery in South America that he worked in and managed for several years. The family relocated to Connecticut in the early 1970’s and have been residents in the area since then.

He has earned a degree in engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. For 30 years Peter worked with United Technologies and other major aerospace companies in business development and management roles. This career provided a broad experience with jet engines, propeller systems, environmental control systems, metallic and composite aircraft structures, avionics and integrated health management systems.

Because he grew up in a multilingual family and lived in Venezuela and Europe for many years, Peter is fluent in Spanish, Italian and German. Peter has been married to his wife Casey for over 25 years. They have two boys.
