Anthony Citrolo, CPA, CVA, CBI of New York Business Brokerage Inc.

Anthony J. Citrolo is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) having more than 30 years of experience in small business operations and finance. For 17 years, he owned and operated a number of franchise and independent business enterprises. Prior to that, he was a CPA at Deloitte and Touche, an international accounting firm.


Anthony’s background gives him an exceptional understanding of the daily challenges business owners face. He has successfully completed many purchases and sales, both for his personal business transactions as well as for clients. His abilities include a keen sense of negotiation and the solid, proven skills required to analyze and interpret financial statements.

Anthony is a member of The International Business Broker’s Association (IBBA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the New York Association of Business Brokers (NYABB) and the Mergers and Acquisition Source (M&A Source). He has achieved the accreditation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), one of only ten so designated intermediaries in New York State. Anthony also has the distinction of being the only Certified Business Intermediary in New York who also holds the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). Additionally, he is currently working on earning his Merger and Acquisitions Master Intermediary designation (M&AMI) through the M&A Source, the leading Mergers and Acquisitions association in the country.

He graduated from Baruch College with a Bachelors’ degree.
