Mr. Estes is a Senior Vice President and the Managing Partner of The BTI Group's Seattle office. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a licensed Washington Business Broker. Mr. Estes completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at California State University, Sacramento (Accounting 1971, MBA 1973). Mr. Estes spent the next five years with the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Co. in their San Francisco office. Between 1978 and 1993, he worked for three firms: Corporate Controller of a publicly traded company (URS Corporation), Chief Financial Officer of the largest chemical distribution company in North America (Van Waters & Rogers), and ran the community banking and consulting divisions of a $30 million software development company (Software Alliance). He left corporate management in 1993 to acquire his first company.
