We own a cozy, warm and inviting wine shop in the western Chicago suburbs. We are known for our fun, unique and whimsical wines and gifts - with a specialty in Illinois wines, as well as wines from around the world! Ours is an established business with very loyal and friendly customers who visit often, and heavily support us with word of mouth advertising. In addition to our loyal customer base, we have new walk-ins every day due to being very visible to daily passers by. Unique wines; gourmet foods and gifts; a wine-of-the-month club; fun monthly events, and our warm, cozy atmosphere distinguish us from all other wine and liquor shops in the towns that surround us. Folks often tell us we belong in Geneva or Long Grove, and we truly are a much loved little shop! 2009 sales have been up every month over 2008 - and even in December of 08, when folks were saving their pennies - our sales were 42% above December of 2007! We are NOT the shop to go to for your next bottle of Silver Oaks, but with our daily open tasting bar...we will help you find a wine that you are excited to take home and enjoy! Facilities: The location occupies approximately 1,700 square feet of showroom space, and significant downstairs storage and cellar space. There is a favorable lease in place with very reasonable rent - and the landlord will negotiate a new lease with a qualified buyer. One big advantage that our business has is a supportive landlord, and a village of folks that don't want to lose our shop!
