This center for Autism and Child Development is a for-profit practice dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and related disorders through empirically based interventions and state of the art individualized programs. This practice has been in existence since October 2004. It offers patients a full range of services including diagnosis, assessments, clinical, school, and home based intervention. The practice employs an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach to the evaluation and diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopment disorders. This practice conducts comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, program consultation (clinical, home based, and school based), social groups, individual counseling, family system support and intervention. A licensed clinical psychologist conducts or supervises all clinical work and establishes contracts with outpatient clinics, residential or therapeutic programs, and school districts seeking consultation/training regarding children with autism spectrum disorder. Training can focus on assessment and diagnosis of individual children as well as setting up individualized treatment programs or entire classrooms, and can be from a variety of disciplines, including psychology, speech language pathology, and occupational therapy. Great opportunity for passive ownership or an Idaho licensed PhD/PsyD (or eligible for state reciprocity) preferably with fellowship training in pediatric assessment and developmental psychology. The practice averages 4000 annual visits, with capacity of between 5000 and 6000. The practice is open to the public Monday through Friday with normal business hours. Current owner has allied health provider privileges at St Luke's Boise and Meridian. St. Al's doctors refer regularly as well.
