Since inception by the two owners, the firm has grown to employing 30 people; including 16 certified technicians, 2 apprentice technicians and a supporting staff of 12 managers (including the 2 owners) with sales of over $13 million in 2008. Included in the office staff are 4 Project Managers, a Service Manager, a Professional Engineer, Controller, Service Coordinator, Construction Administrator, Service Administrator and an Administrative Assistant. All personnel are provided company vehicles, with appropriate tools to complete their assignments. . The principals indicate that business is strong and they are presently interviewing technicians for an increasing workload. Management indicates that sales have increased over the years primarily due to an excellent reputation ( word of mouth referrals from satisfied clients) and from installation contracts. In 2007 they were awarded a major service contract from a governmental institution for the provision of all labor, material, supplies and equipment for maintenance, service, repair, retrofit, installation on a time and material basis for the HVAC mechanical equipment. The company also has three other major contracts with governmental institutions (Hospitals, Schools, etc). The company segments it s activities into two divisions (Service & Installation), with the Service group responsible for regularly scheduled maintenance and Installation involved primarily in installing new equipment and new projects. The firm presently has over 150 commercial service contracts to perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and repair work on a time and material basis.
