It is convenient to major expressways and points of delivery, including an on-site rail line. The renovated plant is approximately 6 years old. Approximately 3,000 square feet are devoted to office space and the balance is used for manufacturing and warehousing. The site acreage is primarily used for receiving materials and trucking as well as employee/visitor parking.
Market Outlook and Competition:The Company sells primarily to distributors who sell to end user dairy farm operations. Customer relationships are maintained through its dedicated sales force, including the Company's senior management.
COMPETITION:
Based on the size of the market there are a limited number of regional and national competitors. Because the anatomy of cows does not change over time, the needs are consistent from year to year although changes in mixes can change based on customer formulation experimentation.
All of the oligopoly competitors provide similar products and services, but the degree that they provide fast turnaround time, consistency, focused service and value add pricing are determining factors in ultimate sales attraction.
