The Company develops, manufactures, and markets multiple lines of infectious disease and autoimmunity diagnostic products (immunoassay blood tests). Products are delivered in various formats (i.e. strip, plate). A new format for use in smaller clinics as a Point-of-Care product is scheduled for distribution this summer. There are 35,000 licensed physician groups (labs) that are the target market for the Company’s new POC products. FDA clearance and ISO certification provide foreign buyers access to a large USA market, and Conformite European (CE) approval represents a foothold for domestic acquirers looking to expand oversees. The Company’s products are sold worldwide through a long-standing network of 59 foreign and 75 domestic distributors to health care providers in Greater Europe (49% of 2007 revenues), North America (41%), and Asia, South America, and Australia (10%).
