This company began in September 1994 and is still running strong 15 years later Having a solid sales and marketing background along with some experience in the Packaged Goods Industry, the owner decided to venture out on her own and provide this niche service to all of the major Packaged Goods Manufacturers.
She provides a national depiction of retail food, drug and mass merchandise shelving and display conditions quarterly to the Marketing and Sales individuals. She wears every hat; sales, marketing, photography, production, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
For the first three years, she traveled nationally and photographed 15 out of the 20 Markets that she covers. The remaining 5 Markets were photographed by photographers that were local to their Markets. Because she enjoys doing so, she still photographs three Markets CT, NY and Boston. The remaining 17 Markets are covered by her photographers who reside nationally.
To date, there are 10 outside contractors working with her quarterly. These individuals consist of photographers and graphic designers that offer their services part-time (three weeks every quarter). Originally her Retail Photographic Portfolios were offered to the Client as 4X6 glossy prints which were placed into photo albums, later to be upgraded into CD-ROM’s and DVD’s, offering much more versatility.
The business is a home based Company which requires about 25-30 flexible hours a week of your time. This niche service has proven to stand strong even during a weak economy as the Food and Drug Industries do not seem as effected. The company has a very solid reputation in the Industry as it is committed to excellence. It has established key Client relationships while providing high quality work in a timely fashion.
