This firm has been located in the mid-Atlantic area for its entire history. While he began specializing as a custom homes builder, the owner quickly moved his core emphasis into the commercial market place performing construction of new buildings, as well as renovation and remodeling of existing buildings, tenant improvements and site improvements. Samples of some of the over 500 projects the company has completed are office and professional buildings, shopping centers, technology parks, banks, churches and fire departments. Many of these projects were done at the behest of and in coordination with State and County Governments, General Services Administrations, Highway Administrations and Transportation Commissions. The internal workings of the company are controlled by a hands-on President, a team of estimators, project managers who over see the superintendents, a controller with an assistant and an outside 3rd party CPA who provides year end, reviewed financials. Over the past three-and-a-half years, the company has enjoyed an annual revenue that has ranged between $8 and $15 million with a 2008 estimated revenue of $11 million. Estimated Adjusted EBITDA for 2008 is $525,000. As stated earlier, there is much room for growth as there is a wealth of both Federal and Local Government commercial projects which the company to date has not pursued. As either a stand-alone or add-on to an existing construction company, this firm can be the basis for excellent growth and the attendant financial rewards.
