Krumb King is a “Green” Environmentally Friendly Non-Operating commercial volume producer of ultra-fine crumb rubber and other reclaimed products. Its extensive machinery and equipment was purchased and assembled in its plant in Western Ohio with the intention of providing product to a broad range of customers for use in playgrounds, riding arenas, landscaping, paving and more. The company operated only for a brief period in 2008 but all M&E is still hardwired and ready to produce product with the flip of a switch. Its extensive machinery & equipment has the capacity to produce large quantities of recycled product. With “Cap & Trade” and other government mandates likely to be enacted this plant offers an environmentally sound economic solution to its tire suppliers as well as its end line customers. Krumb King was developed as a startup enterprise in 2007. The company was established to take advantage of the growing trend toward voluntary and government mandated recycling of consumer waste. The Obama administration has made it clear that it intends to enact very strong environmental legislation including some form of “Cap & Trade”. The Krumb King plant is “hard wired” and ready to capitalize on this huge multi billion dollar emerging industry. Mr. Charles Russell financed the company which was to be operated by a non-equity partner. Mr. Russell owns a large metal stamping plant in SE Michigan to which his full time is devoted. The operating partner proved to be incapable of independently running the day to day functions of the business. After a short period (several months) of unprofitable operations Mr. Russell decided to cease production. As a result of its closure this valuable Green Industry Recycling Facility is now offered for sale.
