THE COMPANY This 30 plus year old company transports, packs and stores household belongings for military personnel. The contract price is an on-going bid with the government. The company operates two government approved warehouses and there is enough excess property for more warehouses. The current warehouses normally remain full. Contracts for more goods to be stored are turned down when the warehouses are full and accepted when space opens up. Some of the excess property is leased to individuals. THE LOCATION The storage facilities and office are located in Mountain Home, Idaho which has a large Air Force base. This location is ideal for the intended use. There is a very low cost to pick up the goods from the Air Force personnel. THE REASON FOR SELLING The owner wishes to sell the business and retire. THE IDEAL BUYER The ideal buyer would be a person in the industry that would like to increase market share or move into the Mountain Home area to reduce costs of transporting the goods. An individual interested in the storage industry could operate as a stand alone business, as is currently the case. The seller would be willing to train. It is a pretty simple business with one extremely stable client. THE POSSIBILITIES More storage can and should be built. Mountain Home has need for more mini-storage as the town is growing with mostly apartment dwellers. Another warehouse should be constructed and approved for government storage to take advantage of the demand by the Air Force. No additional land would need to be purchased, as there is plenty of excess.
