A glass front 7500 square foot leased facility having great visibility in a strip mall facing on a main travel route. New interior in 2010 with outstanding start up debt financed originally by landlord and assumable as add-on to monthly lease payment. At the rear is a storage area mostly used to hold a small amount of inventory. Inventory is quickly replaceable so most is displayed on the active sales floor. This back area includes a loading dock with truck access away from customer traffic.
Market Outlook/Competition:
New customers are not aggressively marketed by the current owner. Most customers are drawn by drive by observation of the popularly named store. Increased advertising is recommended. Also a distant town holding a potential customer base would be better served by opening a very small satellite office/storefront having access to the primary location, also boosting sales. There are a few competitors, some distant, offering some portions of the product lines offered by this store but none with all of this product mix. Others do not have access to many of the nationally branded high quality products offered. Due to unique geography a large portion of potential customers must pass through this town to get to competitor stores, often more than doubling their shopping trip.
