Business Overview

The Company operates as a recycler which buys and sells various ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as plastics, nationally and internationally. It reclaims scrap metal and plastic which is separated and classified for resale in bulk. Located in New England, it is operating as a sub-chapter S corporation with a fiscal year end of September 30th.
The Company’s revenue grew 20.65% in 2007 to approximately $4.3M after growing 64% in 2006. Recasted EBITDA in 2007 was 1.45M versus $794K in 2006.
Management believes that the Company’s scalable business model could easily result in greater growth levels over the next decade. Indications show that implementation of these opportunities would result in revenue of approximately $6.67M and $9.03M and EBITDA of $2.22M and $3.0M for 2008 and 2009, respectively.

Growth Opportunities

Capital Expense: The Company has initiated an expandable business model utilizing roll-off containers which are placed at customer facilities. Increased capital will allow the company to expand this model with relative ease.

Expansion of Hours: The Company is currently open Monday Through Friday. Management believes that opening operations on Saturdays will result in additional revenue equivalent to the average business day.

Product Expansion: The Company currently resides in a facility which has yet to reach its current capacity and was constructed with an additional 10,000 sq. ft. in mind that has not yet been added. Although the Company has made strong profits from the recycled materials which it handles, management acknowledges that there are additional materials which could be just as profitable.

Sales Expansion: A growing business industry desire to ‘go green’ provides a massive opportunity for a sales team to generate more material.
