Lower Risk –
According to federal laws, the generator of medical waste (the hospital, clinic or lab) is legally responsible for its proper disposal. If your medical waste hauler makes a mistake or has an accident involving your RMW, it can mean a liability issue for you.
We have extensive pollution and liability insurance and we can add your organization as additionally named on our policies.
Since our processing facilities are located near our pickup routes, your waste is processed quickly and efficiently. If you are currently using a medical waste hauler, you should ask how the waste is transported and processed once it leaves your facility. If they are sending it to a transfer station then on a to a remote processing facility, you may be exposing your facility to unneeded risk.
Supplier Diversity –
Many federally funded and state funded healthcare institutions have a minimum supplier diversity fulfillment requirement. Many private organizations that deal with these units of government have them as well. Medmentum can help you satisfy these requirements and keep you compliant with management directives.
Medmentum is a self-certified WBE through the Federal Government Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) system. This certification is usually acceptable to all federal, state and municipal organizations but we would be happy to supply all necessary documentation per requirements.
Compliance Management –
Medmentum has developed an advanced online record-keeping system that helps you stay complaint with EPA and Joint Commission directives. We maintain scans of waste manifests available online for review and documentation for as long as legally required. This reduces your paperwork load and keeps your records available for review or auditing.
Our system also allows you to see the quantities processed for each pickup so you’ll have a complete accounting of your waste stream.

You will work with Assisted Living Communities in your area and referral sources to effectively place seniors in the appropriate facility that can take care of their needs. You are paid by the care facility upon the placement of a senior.
