About the Company
Since 2006 BusinessQuest has specialized in representing sellers of privately-held, small and medium sized businesses with annual sales ranging from $500,000 up to $20 million. BusinessQuest is a full service business appraisal and business brokerage firm. Over the years we have sold over 200 businesses and valued another 400 plus businesses in the manufacturing, wholesale/distribution, business services, personal services, retail, food service, healthcare, transportation & logistics industries and many others.
We have two offices located in Los Angeles County and the Inland Empire to serve all of Southern California. Our staff consist of three (3) Certified Business Brokers, two (2) other experienced business brokers, one Certified Business Appraiser and one Certified Valuation Analyst.
In addition to our business brokerage and M&A advisory expertise, we specialize in preparing business valuations and certified business appraisals ranging from less costly opinion of value reports to comprehensive certified appraisals meeting the professional standards of the National Association of Certified Valuators & Analysts (NACVA).

I command 30+ years of international experience in finance and accounting, including 18 years in senior financial leadership roles partnering with business owners, presidents, and CEOs. My expertise lies in driving operational efficiency through restructuring, optimizing accounting and administrative functions, and implementing streamlined reporting processes that accelerate timelines and reduce errors. Currently, I serve as an M&A Advisor at BusinessQuest Brokers, Inc., licensed to sell businesses in California. I hold the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor®(CM&AA) designation from the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. Specialties: business appraisal, business valuation, business sales, mergers, acquisitions, M&A advisory services, business appraiser, business broker, mergers and acquisitions, small business, mid-size business, privately-held business.
Mr. Mehegan is a Business Analyst and a Business Broker for BusinessQuest Brokers, Inc. Mike has a B.A. in Criminal Justice from California State University, Chico. Mike is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of California. He has background experience in the food and beverage industry, as well as transportation /logistics, and manufacturing. Mike’s background qualifies him to help business owners achieve their financial goals that they have set when it comes to selling their business.
