Steve brings to his clients a wide-ranging business background with a focus on providing the highest level of customer satisfaction. Steve’s experience includes work in mergers and acquisitions, as well as small business brokerage, finance, business development and sales and account management. His skills in project management, negotiations, presentations, and financial modeling help his clients evaluate, purchase or sell a business with confidence. Prior to joining Enlign, spent seven years as the owner/operator of a successful Senior Helpers in-home, non-medical care business in Northern California. In the first three years following the acquisition, the business tripled in size under Steve’s leadership. Prior to Senior Helpers, Steve founded and ran Intero Business Brokers where he spent eight years assisting buyers and sellers with small to medium sized businesses. He represented more than one hundred and fifty companies during this time. This business was built upon professionalism and second-to-none customer service. Previously to this Steve had a corporate career that spanned some fifteen years and involved activities in Mergers and Acquisitions of mid-sized technology, manufacturing, and service companies, as well as financial and sales related activities. He brings valuable experience in the acquisition decision process, due diligence, deal negotiations and transaction execution and closing processes to his clients. After completing undergraduate and graduate degrees in business Steve began a financial career in the high-tech business sector working for companies like Hewlett-Packard and Solectron Corporation. Specific areas of focus included: development and implementation of standardized cost and quotation models, generation of business plans, analysis of pricing, manufacturing cost, and portfolio profitability issues and all aspects of financial reporting. Steve holds a BS in Finance from Colorado State University and an MBA from San Jose University. Steve holds the designation of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) (2019) from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and is a member of the M&A Source. He lives in the Richmond, Virginia area with his wife.
