Chance Sweat brings a unique dual perspective to FitzGibbon Alexander, Inc., combining nearly a decade of corporate leadership with hands-on acquisition entrepreneurship experience. As a Business Broker, he serves clients on both sides of the transaction table with insight earned through real-world ownership, operation, and exit experiences. Prior to joining FitzGibbon Alexander, Inc., Chance spent nearly ten years in Corporate America as a Sales Director for an IT consulting firm, where he managed a national sales team responsible for tens of millions in annual revenue. During COVID, he began moonlighting as a potential main street buyer and ended up acquiring and operating multiple businesses, both with and without broker representation. This experience taught him the critical importance of skilled intermediaries and the nuances that separate successful transactions from costly mistakes. After successfully exiting his business portfolio, Chance obtained his Florida real estate license and joined FitzGibbon Alexander, Inc. to help business owners and buyers navigate what is often the most significant financial transaction of their lives. His approach centers on helping people avoid getting in their own way during major transitions, serving as both advisor and connector throughout the process.
