Introduction
Chris Gutierrez – Managing Broker. In 2006, Chris founded Central FL Business Group (DBA FL Business Sales | Mergers & Acquisitions) to advise Florida business owners in the valuation and sale of their companies. As a former owner of one of the largest business brokerage franchises, Chris ranked in the top 10 highest producing office owners and intermediaries internationally every year for more than a decade.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree (Finance) from University of Florida in 1991 and Masters of Business Administration degree (Finance) from Georgia State University in 1995. Chris is a licensed real estate broker in Florida, and has achieved the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation from the International Business Brokers Association, the Certified M&A Professional designation from Kennesaw State University, and the Business Certified Appraiser designation from the International Society of Business Appraisers.
Chris has been a buyer and a seller of his own companies, which have included steel products manufacturing, software, training, web-hosting, and restaurant delivery services. He understands first hand the process of buying, building and selling his own companies. He understands the intricacies to managing a complex and emotional transaction. His clients will attest to his insight, fairness and honesty in every aspect of the transaction.
Outside of being a top producer in the M&A field, Chris is a Certified Score Mentor, helping business owners and aspiring business owners to improve their opportunities for success in their chosen business. Chris has also been a active volunteer with Toys for Tots for the past 15 years.
