Originally from Ontario, Canada—Kathie joined Hallmark Business Brokers in August 2020 and brought with her a background of creative energy and marketing skills to the team.
Kathie previously worked in advertising and marketing for an international franchise for thirteen years as well as working with her family business prior to relocating to Venice, Florida in 2006.
Kathie is proud to live in the Venice area and loves being involved in the local community. Like so many others, I am a retired business broker from PA who relocated to Florida. I enjoy assisting buyers and sellers in finding each other as a perfect fit where each walks away pleased with the transaction.
I work to guide existing business owners through a thoughtful and orderly exit from current ownership. Likewise, I also assist those in pursuit of business ownership. As a former owner of multiple businesses, I appreciate the decisions and considerations associated with a well-planned transition. I have served on a variety of private company and non-profit boards, where my work has included guidance in both divestiture and merger activities. I am a licensed Sales Associate with the Florida Division of Real Estate. I received a B.S. in Accounting from Troy University and am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida.
