Broker Biography
While serving as VP International Business Exchange Inc, Mike Miller has spent 25 years as a major executive with two fortune 500 companies - Armco Steel, Cooper Industries and British multinational conglomerate BRT. He was responsible for global operations. He has owned and operated over 150 business transactions both on the sale side and buy side, knowing the ins and outs involved with closing. Mike has been an officer in many professional organizations including past President of the Texas Association of Business Brokers. He serves and supports other industry associations, IBBA (International Business Brokers Association), and M&A Source. The experience Mike has developed over the last 25 years in representing the sale of privately owned businesses has allowed him the experience to mentor the industry of the M&A world and serve his clients with confidence and knowledge. Mike holds a Texas Real Estate License and a BBA Degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.
Jeff Elder is a versed professional that understands business transactions from assessment to close. Broad practical business experience and understanding his clients wants, gives him the ability to sell a wide variety of industries. Jeff has been involved in many Texas A&M transactions involving private equity, family groups and foreign entities. Graduating from Texas A&M with an accounting degree and an MBA, he is also a member of the International Business Brokers and Texas Association of Business Brokers. Mr. Elder has over 20 years' experience in the insurance, venture capital, and investment company industries with extensive knowledge in finance, administration, and accounting. His operational and management background provides insight and solutions to achieve bottom line objectives in selling your business in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Mississippi, Kansas, and Tennessee. His experience with business mergers and acquisitions includes the negotiation of a multi-million-dollar acquisition of a privately held insurance group by an international reinsurance conglomerate.
