Introduction
Soo Kong Lim is focused on using her professional experience in international business, franchise consulting and business brokerage to assist her clients to sell their business at the right market price and buyers to select the right business for them.
Soo Kong joined Intero Real Estate Inc. in Silicon Valley as the Business Broker after working successfully as a Broker Associate at VR Business Brokers for seven years.
Founded in 1979, VR Business Brokers pioneered business brokerage and today has sold more business in North America than anyone.
An experienced business professional with a proven track record in sales, finance and negotiations, she is dedicated to working with committed sellers to help them understand the dynamics of selling their business and positioning them to the right buyers.
She works with serious buyers educating them about the process of buying a business and how this may fit with their business and life-style goals.
Prior to joining VR Business Brokers, Soo Kong was the international franchise broker and consultant with FranNet (FranNet is the largest franchise consulting network in North America). She opened several offices for FranNet Asia Pacific in Asia and worked diligently to develop successful commercial links between Asian companies and US franchisors.
She was awarded the Franchise Consultant of the year for international by FranNet in recognition for her achievements.
Her diverse range of industry experience includes manufacturing and distribution, consumer durables, automotive, computer hardware, retail, marketing, PR, advertising and promotion, business and franchise consulting.
She has held several key management positions in global marketing communications corporations across many geographies.
In recognition of her outstanding performance she was awarded the prestigious Harrison K. McCann Leadership Award for Professional Excellence
Fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese and Malay, she is skilled in handling clients from diverse cultures.
Awarded a 5-year scholarship by the Ministry of Education, Japan, she graduated with a M.A. in East Asian Studies from Sophia University and a B.A. in Japanese Language from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in Tokyo.
