Ronald Hoxter

Introduction

Ron Hoxter, CPA, MBA, CVA is President of Mill Creek Partners, a Philadelphia-based based business intermediary specializing in mid-market transactions, representing both buyers and sellers. Since founding Mill Creek in 1998, the firm has completed over 150 transactions, predominantly service, distribution and manufacturing businesses located in the Delaware Valley. Ron holds a CVA designation from the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

He brings decades of financial and operational experience having been SVP of the Chilton Company subsidiary of Walt Disney Company, CFO of Chilton Company and Division Controller at Revlon, Inc. Ron has been involved in mergers and acquisitions and business sales since leaving the Chilton Company, a $250 million publishing subsidiary of Walt Disney, in 1998. He was involved in the sale of the Chilton Company to Reed Elsevier for over $500 million in 1997.

While at Chilton, Ron held a variety of management positions over a fourteen-year period, the last being Senior Vice President with general management responsibility for several divisions of the company inclusive of its leading automotive repair database businesses. He joined the Chilton Company as Chief Financial Officer in 1984 from Revlon where he had held a Controller's position.

Ron had a variety of financial and general management positions prior to Disney and Revlon with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Accenture/Arthur Andersen & Company.

He holds an MBA from Columbia University and is a New York State CPA. Ron is President of the Mid-Atlantic Business Brokers Association, the key trade association for business brokers, real estate brokers and business intermediaries covering Eastern PA, South Jersey and Delaware.
