Introduction

I advise business owners, developers, family offices, and institutional investors on mid-market commercial real estate transactions and lower-middle-market business exits across British Columbia, Alberta, and the Greater Toronto Area. As Managing Director of Capital Markets at Newmark Canada, I structure and execute investment sales, development land transactions, and M&A assignments where operating businesses and underlying real property must be evaluated as a unified strategy.

I specialize in confidential, off-market assignments across industrial, multifamily, seniors housing, essential retail, office, and hospitality assets. On the M&A side, I advise owners of lower-middle-market businesses on succession planning and exits - a service virtually no major Canadian brokerage offers at this scale. Newmark's acquisition of Altus Group's Canadian Valuation & Advisory practice (140 professionals, 3,000+ institutional clients, eight offices) gives my practice unmatched depth for assignments requiring independent valuation, financial modeling, and cross-border structuring.

Over the past decade, I have managed hundreds of millions of dollars in off-market transactions defined by analytical rigour, deal certainty, and discretion. I bring institutional-grade underwriting to the mid-market, where it is most needed and least available.

I hold the CCIM and RI designations, a combination held by fewer than a handful of practitioners in Canada. I was the first global graduate of the A.CRE Accelerator in institutional financial modeling, with advanced certifications from REFM, Vanderbilt University (Applied AI, Prompt Engineering, Advanced Data Analysis), and Google Cloud (Generative AI). I apply AI, machine learning, and geospatial analytics directly to underwriting, site selection, void analysis, and buyer targeting in live mandates.

As Past-President of the CCIM Western Canada Chapter (2023–2025), I led the Vision 100 initiative, served on the CCIM Institute's Presidential Advisory Group on AI, and launched the Cultural Diversity Education Program in Canada.
