About the Company

Engagements outside these criteria are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Every engagement is principal-led. Sellers work directly with the principal advisor from first conversation through closing - no junior associates, no handoffs, no templates.
Flat 5% success fee. We are compensated when your transaction closes - full alignment with your outcome.
The principal holds a JD, an MBA, and is presently pursuing an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law. This academic foundation is complemented by finance and M&A certifications (FMVA, IMAA) and a decade of brokerage experience. Together, they support rigorous analysis, disciplined negotiation, and close coordination with the professionals who serve alongside us on every transaction.

Broker Biography
Introduction
About Nexus Concord
Nexus Concord was founded on a specific observation: Indiana's lower middle market business owners are underserved. Franchise brokerages treat them as inventory. Institutional investment banks won't take them below $10M in enterprise value. Between those extremes sits a range of substantive, owner-operated businesses whose owners deserve better representation than either extreme offers.
Nexus Concord serves that range.
The Path Here
I came to M&A advisory through an unusual route. I served in the United States Marine Corps as an enlisted Marine, where I learned that discipline, preparation, and directness are not soft skills - they are the difference between success and failure when the stakes are real.
After the Marines, I spent a decade in brokerage work, learning the fundamentals of business valuation, buyer psychology, deal structure, and the many ways transactions can go wrong. I also completed an MBA at Louisiana State University, then a JD at Ohio Northern University, and am now finishing an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law at Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
Along the way I earned specialized credentials: the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions & Alliances's IMAA designation, and the the Corporate Finance Institute's FMVA certification in financial modeling and valuation.
That combination of military service, brokerage experience, graduate business training, and legal education sits at the intersection of what a boutique M&A engagement actually requires. Business sales involve legal, financial, and negotiation complexity that a single discipline rarely captures. Nexus Concord's clients get the full stack.
What I Believe
I believe representing a business owner in the sale of their company is a serious professional responsibility that most brokerages take too lightly. The seller has usually spent decades building the business. A single transaction determines their retirement, their family's financial future, and whether their legacy is preserved. That deserves substantive representation, not a template.
I believe fee transparency is a form of respect. A flat 5% success fee, tells the seller exactly what the relationship costs and creates full alignment with their outcome.
I believe principal-led means what it says. Every seller who engages Nexus Concord works directly with me, from the first conversation through closing. Not a junior associate. Not a transaction coordinator. Not a hand-off after signing. The person you meet is the person who represents you.
I believe an M&A advisor's most important skill is judgment - knowing when to push and when to hold, which buyers to pursue and which to decline, when a deal is right for the seller and when to walk away. Judgment develops through experience, education, and character. That is what my background is designed to provide.
How Nexus Concord Works
Nexus Concord is a boutique firm by design. I take on a limited number of engagements each year because sell-side M&A cannot be done well at volume. Every business is unique. Every seller has different priorities. A process built around templates produces template outcomes.
The typical Nexus Concord engagement runs six to twelve months from initial engagement through closing. During that time, sellers can expect regular communication, direct access to me, and coordinated work with their attorney, accountant, and other advisors. I do not replace those professionals - I coordinate with them so the transaction moves efficiently and every specialist stays in their lane.
Who I Serve
Nexus Concord represents Indiana business owners with companies typically valued between $2M and $5M in enterprise value. They value confidentiality, professional representation, and a well-run process over illusory promises of maximum price. Engagements outside these criteria are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Personal
I live in Indianapolis. When I'm not working on client engagements or finishing my LL.M., I read broadly across law, philosophy, and business, and I invest in a small portfolio of private ventures.
If you are a business owner considering a sale, or a professional advisor whose client is considering a sale, I invite you to reach out for a confidential conversation. There is no cost or obligation.
