Introduction
Since 2014, James (Jim) McNeela, has been the Managing Broker at SourceWorks Inc. He has an MBA from Northwestern University and a BS Degree in Computer Science from Loyola University Chicago. He began his career in technical support, IT software sales and management for several Fortune 500 software companies. After leaving corporate America, Jim founded and managed an IT consulting business that offered the best talent in the industry for medical, telecom, manufacturing and finance companies for over 10 years.
Jim has earned the coveted Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), Less than 10% of all business brokers have the CBI designation. He has also been recognized by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) in 2022 and 2023 with the Chairman's Circle Award and the Deal Maker Award.
Jim has the skill and experience in helping business owners convey their company's unique value to buyers. Additionally, he is adept at searching for and identifying firms that offer technical advantages to fit his buyer's requirements and long term goals.
