About the Company
Sunbelt Business Brokers of Roanoke & Lynchburg advises owners of privately held companies, typically with $1M to $20M in revenue, on valuation, exit strategy, and the execution of successful ownership transitions. We operate as sell-side advisors, managing transactions from initial positioning through closing.
Our role extends well beyond bringing a buyer to the table. We structure and manage a competitive process, advise on valuation and deal terms, and coordinate all aspects of the transaction, including negotiations, buyer qualification, lender engagement, and due diligence. The objective is to protect value, maintain leverage, and deliver a controlled, efficient process to closing.
Over the past decade, we have advised on and brought to market hundreds of privately held businesses across a range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and logistics. We are known for a disciplined, process-driven approach and direct senior-level involvement throughout the transaction. We consider ourselves to have “big city knowledge with small town service."
Our perspective is informed by firsthand experience as both advisors and principals. Prior to founding the firm, we acquired, scaled, and exited multiple businesses across retail, franchising, and logistics, representing ourselves across a range of deal structures. This experience provides a practical understanding of transaction dynamics and the factors that influence outcomes.
The firm is led by experienced advisors with backgrounds spanning business ownership, operations, fraud investigations and organizational leadership. This multidisciplinary foundation allows us to navigate both the financial and operational complexities of a transaction with precision.

Jeannie Keen has more than 20 years of business experience, with more than 10 years of experience in small business ownership and management. She also has extensive experience in leadership, consulting, campaign management, event planning and fundraising. She is the President of Eli’s Provisions and is the Senior VP of Sunbelt Business Brokers of Roanoke. After receiving her undergraduate degree from George Mason University, she earned her graduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University where she graduated summa cum laude. Jeannie holds a license in Clinical Social Work (LCSW), a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification and she is a Certified Main Street Business Broker (CMSBB). She is an alumni of Leadership Roanoke Valley and was chosen as advisor of the year in 2012. She is also an alumni of UVA’s Sorensen Institute – Political Leaders Program. Jeannie lives in Salem with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Olivia and Christian.

I began this career in 2022 as an assistant, gaining two years of experience in every stage of the brokerage process before moving into a broker role. My interest in business brokerage was started by supporting my father in two family businesses.
