Introduction

Vabby Makkar advises business owners and buyers on mid-market M&A transactions, business valuations, and commercial real estate across Ontario. He brings together credentials that few advisors hold in combination: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), and licensed Commercial REALTOR® with Royal LePage Real Estate Services.
His practice covers the full transaction lifecycle. On the sell side, he works with owners preparing for exit — establishing defensible valuations, packaging the business confidentially, qualifying buyers, and managing diligence through to close. On the buy side, he represents strategic acquirers and individual buyers searching for established cash-flowing businesses, including medical and dental practices.
Independent valuation work forms a parallel pillar of the practice. Engagements include shareholder buyouts, estate and corporate tax planning, matrimonial proceedings, shareholder disputes, and financial reporting under IFRS and ASPE. All reports are prepared under CBV Institute Practice Standards.
Vabby holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. He is based in Mississauga and serves clients across the Greater Toronto Area and broader Ontario, with selective engagements nationally.
