Carter has a deep and diverse background in business management, leadership and value creation. He has held senior management positions in Fortune 500 companies such as Echlin, Herman Miller and Masco. He has also led entrepreneurial start-ups and franchise ownership groups. Carter’s experience as a consultant includes business process improvement, risk management, marketing strategy and supply chain optimization. His clients included large businesses such as Delta Faucet, educational institutions such as University of Southern Florida, as well as small to medium size businesses across the United States. Carter holds an MBA from Eastern Michigan University. He and his wife Amy live in Durham, N.C. Backed by the resources and networking of The Deal Firm team, Carter is uniquely positioned to provide business buyers and sellers a rational, focused and successful transaction experience
