Broker Biography
Introduction
My background in business brokerage comes from firsthand experience building and selling businesses.
While in college, my business partner and I started a moving & junk removal business from scratch with no outside funding. What began as a small bootstrap operation grew into a successful local company. Over the next few years, we expanded and eventually franchised the concept, gaining firsthand experience with what it takes to build systems, grow a team, and scale a business.
That experience ultimately led me into the world of franchising and business brokerage. I spent several years working as a franchise broker, helping individuals evaluate franchise opportunities and guiding them through the process of becoming business owners.
Today, I work as a business broker, helping people buy and sell independent businesses as well as franchise locations. My focus is on helping owners navigate the sale of their business with a structured process, realistic valuation guidance, and qualified buyers.
Having built a business myself, I understand how much work goes into creating something from the ground up. That perspective shapes how I approach every transaction—respecting the effort owners have put into their business while helping them achieve a successful exit.
Services Provided
I work with business owners who are considering selling their company, as well as buyers looking to acquire established small businesses. My primary focus is representing owners who want to exit their business the right way—with confidentiality, qualified buyers, and a structured process that leads to a successful closing.
For sellers, I guide the entire process from valuation to closing. This starts with determining a realistic market value based on financial performance, industry benchmarks, and current buyer demand. From there, I prepare the business for market and position the opportunity to attract serious, qualified buyers.
Confidentiality is critical. Businesses are marketed discreetly, and all prospective buyers must sign a non-disclosure agreement and demonstrate financial capability before sensitive information is shared. I manage buyer inquiries, screen prospects, and coordinate discussions so owners spend time only with credible buyers.
Just as important as finding a buyer is finding the right buyer. Many owners care deeply about what happens to their employees, customers, and the culture they’ve built. When appropriate, I help evaluate buyers not only on price, but also on their ability to successfully carry the business forward.
I also assist buyers looking to acquire a business by helping them evaluate opportunities, review financials, and navigate the acquisition process.
In addition to independent businesses, I have experience working with franchise systems and can assist both buyers and sellers involved in franchise ownership.
