For 20+ years, I have been dedicated to the work of M&A and Franchise Development. I have personally led 100’s of successful franchise transactions, across more than 70 different franchise brands, and all industries. I have participated in over 50 franchise industry conferences and tradeshows.
As a business broker selling all types of established businesses, and a franchise consultant helping entrepreneurs find the right brand to grow with, I developed a strong niche for navigating the waters of franchise resales. Over the years, my time shifted from being a generalist business broker to having a focus solely on franchise transactions.

I’m Aaron Rains, a Business Broker with Transworld Business Advisors of Redding, where I help business owners navigate the complex process of buying and selling small to mid-sized businesses. My approach is built on integrity, transparency, and a commitment to helping clients achieve their personal and financial goals. Before joining Transworld, I built a successful background as a real estate investor and property manager, overseeing multiple short-term rental properties and learning firsthand what it takes to operate and grow a profitable business. That hands-on experience gives me a unique perspective when evaluating businesses and guiding clients through valuation, marketing, and negotiation. I’m passionate about connecting entrepreneurs with the right opportunities—whether that means helping a seller retire confidently, or assisting a buyer in taking the next step toward ownership. Clients appreciate my attention to detail, clear communication, and dedication to ensuring every transaction is handled professionally and confidentially. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Northern California, and building new ventures that strengthen our local business community.
