With over 40 years of experience, Transworld Business Advisors has grown to be the world leader in the marketing and sales of businesses. Transworld Business Advisors of Vancouver is also a licensed real estate agency which allows us to complete the sale and transfer of real property along with the business or to assign or negotiate a new lease as part of the business sales process. Introduction

Buying or selling a business is very exciting. At times, it is also very complex and challenging. The process can be fast and thrilling one day, but frustrating the next. As a business and franchise owner I can relate to both sides of this roller coaster. In my career, I have played key executive roles responsible for managing health care operations for over 20 years a part of which was growing and expanding operations. Much of my career was spent working for mission based non-profit health care organizations with a high degree of professionalism and ethics to do the right thing. I joined Transworld in 2017 and opened the office in NE Portland. We expanded in 2019 to include all of the Portland metro area including Beaverton and Hillsboro and this past year opened the Vancouver offer to begin serving SW Washington. In 2020 I played a lead role in closing the largest Merger and Acquisition in Transworld history and we have grown to be the largest team of Brokers serving the Portland/Vancouver area.

Since its inception in 1979, Transworld has specialized in the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisitions and franchising in the Southeastern market. Today Transworld has taken that same service philosophy across the country and into International markets. Our philosophy is no different. Our role is to confidentially facilitate the entire business sales and marketing process so the business owner can stay focused on business operations. Our process starts with an analysis of the business operational and financial performance which concludes with a business valuation and a pricing and marketing strategy. Upon conducting industry and competitor research combined with the business information we create compelling advertising and marketing materials that effectively tell the story of each business opportunity. Our process is designed to protect seller confidentiality throughout and we are very through in our vetting and qualifying of financial and strategic buyers. From our training and experience we are effective at identifying potential pitfalls and work proactively to resolve them early in our process. We coordinate the business sales process with all parties involved including seller, buyer, other brokers, landlord, lender, attorney, CPA, Escrow and other advisors as appropriate. We provide sell side services to privately held businesses seeking to exit and confidential buy side services to businesses who are growing and seeking acquisition opportunities. The best acquisition opportunities are not on the market and we can confidentially identify them and provide buy side representation to facilitate an acquisition. We also help businesses grow through franchise development if that is an appropriate growth strategy for them. We perform business valuations to help businesses begin planning for an exit and we prefer to start working with business owners who are "thinking" about selling so we can help them prepare and achieve the highest possible sales price for their business investment. In addition, we are certified franchise consultants and work with over 300 franchise opportunities. Our role is to support the buyer throughout the franchise selection and purchase process. Franchise consulting services are at no cost to prospective buyers.
