Since leaving the military in 2008, Guillermo served for 3.5 years as Director of Administration of the World Health Organization’s America Region overseeing Finance, Information Technology, Procurement and Human Resources, as SVP at Global Communities and as a Partner in a nationwide CFO Services firm. Prior to joining Transworld Business Advisors, Guillermo was the Regional Leader of the DC, VA and MD territory for B2B CFO, the largest CFO Services firm in the United States. As a partner of B2B CFO, Guillermo facilitated the sale of a major stake of a clients business to a publicly traded company for a value that exceeded nearly 300% of prior offers. He also served as Board Treasurer of Ayuda Inc, a Washington Based not for profit that provides legal and social services to immigrant communities of the DC Metro area. He also served as Board Chairman of Express Microfinanzas SAS, a Bogota Colombia Microfinance Institution. In this capacity, he oversaw the sale of the company to a much larger company who wanted to enter the Colombia market.
