Broker Biography
After 30+ years in the consumer packaged goods industry, I charted a new course. I'm using that experience as well as 15 years of experience owning retail businesses with my wife of 32 wonderful years, Missy, and joined the exciting business brokerage industry as an intermediary supported by an Alabama real estate license for businesses that own the land and buildings on which they operate. I joined Transworld Business Advisors, the global market leader in bringing business buyers and sellers together, as an intermediary in Alabama. I'm excited to show small business owners like me that when they're ready for the next phase in their lives, they just don't have to close the doors...there are THOUSANDS of buyers looking to purchase good businesses! Missy and I plan to sell our business someday to help fund our next chapter. I want to take that mindset to educate other small business owners on how to do it...profitably and confidentially. More recently, to enhance my ability to help small business owners maximize the values of their businesses, I earned my Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) designation, from the Exit Planning Institute. As a CEPA® I work with business owners on exit planning, which is a business strategy to prepare an owner for the eventual transition of his/her business, while, at the same time, building significant value in that business today.
