Training And Support
Abbott’s owners benefit from an experienced and dedicated management team supporting them in each facet of their business. The support starts even before a franchise agreement is signed as prospective franchisees are walked through our Discovery Process which is designed to ensure the right information in the right sequence is shared amongst everyone. Once a franchisee agreement is signed the Abbott’s team leads our new owner through the onboarding process which includes the following sub-processes. Each step of the process is performed together as one cohesive unit focused on our achieving our collective goal of opening and operating your Abbott’s Stand.
Onboarding - Introducing you to our systems and internal processes efficiently is key to ensuring you have time to learn and become proficient before opening.
Site selection - We utilize data analytics combined with local knowledge and experience to ensure we identify the best location.
Architectural design - Our architectural firm will design your space from top to bottom to ensure it fits our needs.
Construction management - We will help you identify, interview, and manage your general contractor performing the construction of your Stand
Equipment - Abbott’s will supply you with every piece of equipment you need to operate your stand including our custom made frozen custard machine.
Inventory - We leverage our long term established relationships with our ingredient manufacturers to ensure you receive your inventory at below market costs. A number of our ingredients are also made just for Abbott’s to ensure a premium and differentiable product for our guests.
Scoop School - Our training program consists of a week at our headquarters as well as over a week at your new Stand prior to and extending through your grand opening to ensure you are fully prepared to operate your business.
Marketing - You will receive direct marketing support from our team as well as coaching on how to effectively introduce the brand to your community.
Ongoing business coaching - We continually support our owners through various avenues including multiple in person visits during a year to ensure we are helping you operate your business.
