Amramp helps people with mobility concerns to live better lives everyday by eliminating accessibility barriers.
Home Services, Healthcare & Senior CareAbout Amramp
The Amramp Team manufactures our modular wheelchair ramps in historic Boston, Massachusetts.
We started more than 40 years ago as a producer of architectural metal items used by contractors and architects. We produced stairs, rails, fire doors and security products for doors and windows.
In 1998 we patented a unique modular wheelchair ramp system that has become our signature product. We have expanded our product line to include other products that make life accessible, such as stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, grab bars and railings, overhead patient lifts and more.
In 2017 we introduced our Amramp Pro commercially compliant wheelchair ramp.
Today, we have 50+ locations and growing across the United States and Canada. Each of our locations has local residential and commercial inventory so we can quickly accommodate the accessibility needs of our customers.
Our franchise partners are accessibility specialists. Many have received the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist designation from the Remodelers Council of the National Association of Home Builders in collaboration with AARP. The Amramp Teams will conduct a free site assessment and provide a written proposal within days. Ramps or other accessibility solutions can be installed quickly and easily.

Testimonials
"I had looked for the right franchise opportunity for about 3 years and chose Amramp for several reasons. First, I was looking for a unique opportunity in a growth field; I am not one who likes to follow the crowd or do what everyone else is doing. I think Amramp has a great concept and product in a field that will continue to grow.
Another thing I was looking for was a tangible product that is in demand. Although not everyone may need a handicap ramp, when you do need one Amramp's quick response and rental or purchase programs set the standard in the industry.
Finally, I was looking for a product that at the end of the day, you can be proud and feel good about. Helping those in need and seeing the gratitude and relief on the faces of these people is priceless."

"Amramp has provided me the freedom of operating and managing my own business; they have also provided me structure and guidance as needed. In my few months as an Amramp franchisee, I have been pleased beyond my expectations. The management team from senior management to administration is very knowledgeable and helpful. I wanted a business where working hard reaps rewards and I believe this is where it is going to happen."

“It feels great, as a business owner I’m able to make a living and I’m helping people. In my previous background … we didn’t have the close client contact that I do now, it’s just so different than what I’m used to, and it’s really rewarding. And I get calls from potential franchise owners that are looking to get into Amramp - I would definitely do it in a heartbeat … I probably should have done it 10 years prior - I should have done this sooner.”
