Asset Sale Description
This brewery started out as a seasonal-only brewery, producing new beers every three months, in Midtown Memphis. It also started with self distribution, where one partner would brew the beer and the other partner would sell and deliver the beer directly to retailers (bars, restaurants and grocery stores). They grew the company to more than 400 accounts and then signed a distribution agreement with a significant distributor of Memphis. They also started producing a popular Amber Ale as a year-round beer, with it becoming a flagship beer.
These owners have also built up a strong distribution network across Tennessee, Missouri and North Mississippi. Currently selling in more than 60 chain grocery accounts (Kroger, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Fresh Market) and hundreds of independent retailers.
If you've ever been out on the weekend to a local craft brewery and thought about how you wished you were to guy who owned this place, HERE IT IS! This business is a very ripe business to acquire. There are some challenges, but the owners, landlord and the bank are willing to have serious discussions.
