Introduction

I understand small business. Thanks to my family, I am forever grateful for the knowledge they shared long ago of honest to goodness hard work, customer service and building relationships. As a teenager growing up in our small family business, I started by sweeping and mopping floors, stocking and dusting shelves, then groomed to management in the grocery, liquor store and gas station businesses, and later ownership of several businesses on my own that included, truck detailing for the food truck industry (this was before food trucks popularity today), liquor store, telemarking, glass manufacturing, and flexible circuit board manufacturing. I understand small business, I understand the sweat equity required to build a successful business, I've been there, I've done that. I understand the capital investment needed to purchase an existing business or a new start up location from the ground up, both scenarios have played out for me. I understand the long hours and the little sleep, I understand bookkeeping and balance sheets, and what it takes to drill on the numbers. I understand tax returns and business structures, I understand contracts and forms and their importance in deal transactions, I understand what it takes to list and successfully sell a small business. I understand the listing and selling process and happy to share my personal success with clients. Johnnie Shamoun (John) is focused on providing clients the highest standards of professionalism and knowledge. John is a member in good standing with the International Association of Business Brokers (I.B.B.A.), the California Association of Business Brokers (C.A.B.B.), California Department of Real estate (C.A.R.), California Bureau of Real Estate Appraisers (BREA), a Certified Investment Real Estate Acquisitions and Due Diligence Specialist, and hold a General Accredited Appraiser from the National Association of Realtors.

Johnnie brings a unique skillset and experience to all business transactions, with over fifteen years of professional experience in the fee preparation of commercial real estate appraisals for local and regional financial institutions, litigation and litigation support, estate planning and tax gifting purposes. In addition, John has prepared appraisals for small and large real estate portfolios, and appraisal review work involving commercial, industrial, and residential properties.

Business brokerage experience over the years encompasses a wide variety of industries and include; Aerospace, Automotive, Coin-Operated Laundromats, Grocery Stores, Gift Shops, Manufacturing, Liquor Stores, Nail Salon, Quick Serve Restaurants, and Telemarketing, and small professional practices. My new found focus is on 3PL's-Third Party Logistics and service businesses.
