Michael Abbinante consistently ranks among the top five Business Brokers in the State of Arizona. In 2012, the most current data published by the Arizona Business Brokers Association, Michael finished first in the number of businesses sold and third in the dollar volume of businesses sold.
Michael is a graduate of the University of Dayton (Ohio) with a degree in Accounting. While working for Price Waterhouse, he passed the CPA exam.
In 1983, Michael opened a Business Brokerage Firm in Cleveland, Ohio. After selling a "Mid-Size" Company in Tucson in 1988, he relocated here and started a Business Brokerage Practice. His firm has been located in the Executive Suites at New World Plaza since 1989.
Michael has personally brokered (sold) 486 businesses. Prior to discontinuing the rendering of Professional Business Valuations (Appraisals) in 1998, he had completed and rendered 118 such Appraisals.
CERTIFICATIONS: Besides having been a Certified Public Accountant (Ohio), Michael was previously a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), which is an accreditation through the International Business Brokers Association. At the time of Mr. Abbinante holding this designation there were only 489 such CBI's worldwide.
