Throughout his career, Mordecai has started and operated several diverse businesses, including an employee-testing company, an internet-based restaurant-equipment company, and a healthcare-marketing company. He was also a partner in a medical-billing company providing billing services to local medical specialists, and in an occupational-health clinic providing employee-health services to local and national businesses.

His experience with clients ranging from small to medium in size and scope (as well as one Fortune 10 company) helped him hone his business-development, operations, and marketing skills. In working closely with a diverse landscape of business owners, he became adept at finding solutions to clients’ needs and positioning them for success.

Prior to joining Abraxas, Evans served as a business intermediary with a “main-street-business” brokerage firm for 3½ years, where he successfully helped many small business owners navigate the complexity of the business-sale process.

    Pino Venetico Serving Fulton County, GA

    Italian born, Pino Venetico grew up in Belgium and Montreal, Canada. After graduating from McGill University with an MS in Accounting, he began his professional career with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP. In 1983, he moved to New York City and held various management and executive positions with Montedison USA, a subsidiary of a multinational Italian conglomerate. He also managed the setup of accounting and financial reporting to the Italian corporate headquarters for mergers, acquisitions, and newly-formed companies. In 1987, Venetico was transferred by Montedison to Savannah, GA to start a new ship building company, Intermarine USA. At Intermarine, he held the position of Chief Financial Officer and was instrumental in the selection and implementation of all financial reporting systems for this company. He also was responsible for day-to-day interactions with the Department of Navy, the company’s most significant customer. In 1993, he left the corporate world and founded the award-winning Il Pasticcio restaurant in Savannah, GA., one of the top Italian restaurants in the nation. Since 2011, Venetico has lived in Atlanta and has as a business consultant to some of the area’s most recognized and successful hospitality organizations. Over the course of his career, Venetico has established himself as a highly-motivated and results-oriented leader with extensive experience handling all aspects of Management, Finances and Business operations.
