Introduction
Akisa Fukuzawa’s consulting expertise has been cultivated over her 24 years of business experience including her most recent service as Executive Director of the Japan America Society of Central Ohio (JASCO), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, from 2013 to 2016. She brought exceptional leadership and experience to its marketing and business operations. She also promoted women’s leadership in business & diversity and organized women’s health and wellness programs for the community.
Prior to joining JASCO, Akisa was VP of Marketing for 7 years of a local CPA review course that developed live and distance learning education systems. Before that, Akisa worked for 6 years at one of HONDA’s tier-one suppliers in Columbus implementing their inventory system and assisting in accounting, HR, and immigration visa matters. From 1996 to 1999, Akisa worked at the Federation of Electric Power Companies of Japan in Washington, D.C., a Japanese utility research and lobbying office.
