About the Company
Angot LLC is a small business brokerage serving the Willamette Valley and beyond. We specialize in restaurants, professional service firms, and businesses with deep community roots — the kind of places people would genuinely miss if they closed.
What makes us different is operating experience. Before becoming a broker, Chantal Angot founded, ran, and sold her own Portland restaurants. She's managed hospitality operations at a senior level and spent a decade in small business financial management. When she reviews a seller's financials, she understands what she's looking at — and the story those numbers are telling. Buyers benefit from the same rigor: organized financials, straight answers, and a broker who has actually operated the kind of business you're looking at.
Buying or selling a business is a human experience first and a transaction second. That's the philosophy behind everything Angot LLC does.
Broker Biography
Introduction
I'm Chantal Angot and I've spent nearly a decade helping entrepreneurs navigate one of the biggest transitions of their lives — buying a business, selling something they built, passing a torch, and figuring out what comes next.
Before I was a broker, I was an operator. I ran and ultimately sold my own restaurants in Portland, Oregon. Before that I was a restaurant manager and food and beverage director at hotels in Vail, Colorado.
I also have a business degree and a decade of small business financial management experience. Beyond the work, I serve on the board of a local nonprofit — community involvement isn't separate from how I do business. It's part of it.
Most brokers are focused on the transaction. I'm focused on the people. I am fiercely committed to my clients' success.
If you're a buyer: you'll find my listings organized and honestly presented. You'll get straight answers, clear information, and returned calls. I won't waste your time on a business that isn't what it appears to be — and I've operated the kinds of businesses I sell, so I know the questions you should be asking. I'm not a salesperson and I won't talk you into a deal that isn't right for you.
If you're a seller: what you're going through is a big deal — whatever your reasons and whatever comes next. My job is to bring expert guidance to the whole of it: the numbers, the process, and the concerns that keep you up at night.
Whether you're buying or selling, I view myself as a guide to the transaction. A healthy transition is my goal.
I work with restaurants and cafes, professional service firms, pet care businesses, and independent brands woven into the fabric of their communities.
